What are the prerequisites to become a member?

Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Have been baptized SINCE accepting Christ.

What does membership indicate?

By becoming a member you are partnering with Mt. Vernon to help lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. You will enjoy being part of spiritual family that helps create an environment that is in leading others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ relationship with Jesus Christ. Those people who want to join Mt. Vernon seem to understand the transition from "What do I get?" to "What can I give?"

Where do I start?

Fill out a Connection Card (available in the worship center) and place it in the offering plate during a service. A ministry team member will contact you about your decision. You can also contact a staff member directly to talk about your decision.
