Ephesians 3: “20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,”

For years, these words have inspired Mt. Vernon to follow God boldly.  Just think about all that God has done through and in our church over the years.  Now God has provided an incredible opportunity with the new preschool building and commons area to continue to fulfill His vision for our church. The vision is to continue to create environments where people feel welcome and comfortable with the hope that those environments will help bridge people to a great life in Christ. That vision is what is driving us to build a new pre-school building, and at this point we can imagine and dream big when we think of the people we will reach and the families we will impact and develop to be the kingdom servants of tomorrow.  No doubt this is a huge step for our church and a bold plan. Yet, God loves to respond to bold faith. In Hebrews He tells us that the only way He is pleased is when we live by faith and not by sight, so here we go! The only way to move forward is to do so together. Each of us has the opportunity to impact eternity as we sacrifice and participate. Is this a large dream? No doubt!  But we serve the God who is able to do more than we could ever ask or imagine.  And just imagine what God will do in the years ahead!  Imagine how exciting it will be to move toward tomorrow today.
