Sunday mornings at Mt. Vernon are my favorite time of the week. Something happens when people get together and point their attention and lift their voices toward God.
At Mt. Vernon this sounds a little different than most churches. We believe that a walk with Christ is exciting. It's something worth celebrating. So our environment looks and sounds like that.
If you can't tell already - Mt. Vernon is all about serving. People don't just attend, they are actively involved in the life of this community. The same goes for our worship ministry. We are presently looking for volunteers for the Mt Vernon Production Team. This behind-the-scenes group of individuals are a key part of making all of the Mt Vernon programming happen efficiently. Do you have experience in the operation of audio, video and lighting equipment? Do you have experience with Final Cut Pro? Do you find fulfillment in organizing events?
